The hotel room far exceeded our expectations with an incredible view, but I had a flu from extreme temperature changes. The city view from the room was quite nice.
The hotel has lovely, spacious rooms, but it's a shame the showers were cold during our stay. The service was satisfactory, with staff showing a permanent interest in our experiences. The hotel felt a bit mixed. On one hand, the rooms had super cheap furniture covered in dust, and the hotel was stinking hot; however, it was big enough for my family of 2 adults and a child. The service was a bit inconsistent; I saw that I had some dumplings, which was nice, but there were some design problems affecting the enjoyability of stay. The location was a bit of a hit and miss, being perfect for dining around Phuket city but with some shops around closed. The dining experience was a bit overpriced compared to other places, and though the Asian food options were very good, dishes started thinning out towards the end of service. Despite these downsides, the hotel itself was great.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were very spacious and clean, with the added comfort of a large sofa. The upgrade to a family suite was a bonus, and we also received 3 welcome drinks that we could enjoy at the Novotel lobby bar. The bathroom was excellent, especially the great shower which was very handy in the Thai heat.
The family suite at the hotel was very nice and clean, with big and nicely decorated rooms. The bright colors cheered up our minds. The service, led by 'Titi,' was really friendly and helpful, although there was a slight issue with understanding the responsibility for a pick-up service. The location was decent at the town center, walking distance to the old city, though a bit far from the beaches for a holiday. Dining at the Amor Restaurant was very good, with particularly delicious Asian food options. The facilities were sufficient for our needs.
